Lyocell is an innovative textile material that combines the merits of synthetic yarn(high strength and esthetics) and natural fibers(comfortable and biodegradable). It is produced from wood pulp through a solution spinning process.

Its closed-loop manufacturing process recovers and reprocesses 99.5% of the amine oxide solvent, which is nontoxic and non-corrosive.

Because the solvent is recycled efficiently and the wood is harvested from fast-growing trees raised for this end use, Lyocell is much more environmentally friendly than viscose rayon.
